David Ewart has written two articles detailing some long-term trends in the church based on data collected from the Yearbook. “The World Changed in 1957… or Maybe It Was 1958″ discusses attendance trends that began in the late 1950s, and offers some guidance on how that information might be helpful for the church today. “United Church of Canada Financial Trends” discusses the areas of growth and decline in the acquisition of financial resources while making reference to attendance levels over the last fifty years and offers a forward-looking projection.
