On Sabbatical
Megumi Matsuo Saunders is on a much deserved Sabbatical Leave March, April and May 2010. During her absence, Kat Rainsberry is co-ordinating Sunday School and related matters. Many others will be looking after various parts of her ministry. If you have questions, please call Sharon at the Front Office 250.388.5188 ext. 221. She will contact the appropriate person. Megumi promises to come back “refreshed with new energy and new visions …”
As part of their leave, Allan and Megumi will leave March 16 for Turkey and Egypt to learn about St. Paul and the faith and mission of many early Christians and then to explore the roots of Hebrew/Christian faith. On Easter Sunday, they will be in Cappadocia, where ancient Christians created homes and chapels within the rocks.
